Helena Espvall / Fred Lonberg-Holm / Miguel Mira - Flying Cellos (Compact Disc)

$14.00

Flying Cellos” is the improvising trio of Helena Espvall, Fred Lonberg-Holm and Miguel Mira. Although all three play the same instrument, their individual and distinctive musical identities make the results anything but homogenous. In addition to using different tunings, between the three of them, they have extensive experiences in just about every type of music one might hear a cello play. From psychedelic folk to contemporary classical to alt country to jazz their sound reveals a love of experimentation and intersectionality
